East Williamsburg

You like the East Village but hate the rent—try East Williamsburg. They say the hipsters that fled the gentrification of Williamsburg settled out here, but it's not so far. It’s artsy like its neighbor, and like its neighbors has a bustling bar and restaurant scene. But what it lacks in niceties of Williamsburg, it makes up in proximity to history.
